About the artist
Ramon Matheu
Ramon Matheu is an Annapolis-based artist whose colorful pop art celebrates the wildlife, humor, food traditions, and natural beauty of the Chesapeake Bay. Inspired by the bold energy of 1960s and 1970s Pop Art, Ramon’s work blends bright color, playful wordplay, and locally rooted messages into artwork that feels fun, optimistic, and distinctly Maryland.
