The Blue Crab has always been part of life around the Chesapeake Bay, from summer crab feasts to the watermen who make their living on the water. But pollution, disappearing habitat, and other challenges affect the health of the Bay and the species we all enjoy. I created Protect Then Serve to make a point with a little over-the-top humor: before we keep serving these resources at our tables, we need to protect what keeps them alive.

Now that message can go wherever you do. This piece of clothing brings a little Chesapeake Bay artwork into everyday life—with a reminder to appreciate the wildlife, traditions, and waters we share.
